Hey guys, recently search artstation and catch up this brilliant tutorials about texel density by Leonardo Lezzi (i think he is a friend of Tim, cause he is from Ubisoft) hehe

Guess it will be usefull for everyone ! :)

Great find Ievgenii! That is indeed a very comprehensive tutorial on that matter and something that is not easy to explain with a few words.
I don't know Leonardo personally, he works in the UK and I am in Canada but I think I've seen his work before and it's certainly excellent!

Thanks for sharing that! Great to link people to because people ask about Texel density quite often.

Hey Tim,

This is a great opportunity for a new tutorial :realization: It's like with your Mech tutorial where we divided it into two main pieces. In your next tutorial you can make two objects and teach us the practical use of texel density and how to calculate it. Like AK and a scope for it. If I understood correctly the tutorial of Leonardo Lezzi, it's pointless to make same texture resolution for AK and the scope as far as scope will be a smaller object and the same resolution would just use additional graphics card resources.

It could be a Texel density special episode :icon_uff:

By the way you know that your tutorials are awesome and thanks to your wife for the forum ))
