Looking cool, almost psychedelic! What exactly are we looking at though? Some crystal substances?

Hello Tim, sorry I could not reply earlier, just finished my internship in italy and now im back in germany again!
It was a texture I created and I played with displacement maps in 3ds Max. Next thing will be the AK Tutorial from you I puchased last month! (hope i will master it)

Oh nice, welcome back to Germany and that is one nice looking Earth model and texture! Very mass effectish when you do the planet scanning :D Nice! Good luck with the AK tutorial, let me know how it goes.

Also the render scene you are currently working on looks good, the DOF makes a clear focus and I like the fact you make it feel dynamic by rotating the egg a little for example :)

One thing that made me look twice to be honest, is the curve of the spoon. Perhaps it's because I'm used to less curvy spoons :icon_redface:
It could just be the angle we look at it though^^

To be honest, yes you are right it is a bit curvy and it will get changed in the futre, but i want a curvy spoon though not as curvy as it is right now :D

I made my first attempts modelling a car, I learned a lot of stuff (I did not follow any tutorial but rather chose to try myself).
However the first results ended up having a lot of topology problems and later came out too cuby etc. etc.
After my 10th attempt I had a rather good version which was still too cuby so I went to trash the file again but I took a single
render which I played with in Photoshop and the outcome is something I like and wanted to share with you :D
