Hi liltaso ,

appreciate you asking for donation options. I haven't really looked into patreon at this point. I gotta do that to get a better understanding of whether it would be a thing worth doing.
For now I have my "free" tutorials up as an optional download on gumroad.com/timb for a dollar. Optionally it can also be downloaded for free on google drive.
Figured I leave it up to the people if they want to donate or not. Any other money I make comes in through the actual big tutorials mostly through my gumroad page.

I got the ultimate tutorial as donation. But still even that is worth way more than its priced at imo (so im not sure if its even a donation).

Also Im curious, why delete the half before applying symmetry modifier? .... edit: i think just so the other half doesnt get in the way

Appreciate it and you got me curious about the Patreon option. :icon_think: I will look into it and see if its worth opening one up but I am already pretty busy as I am now so the more I add on top the more work I have. Thanks for getting the AK tut! The symmetry modifier is great because it allows us to only focus on one side and yeah.. sometimes you model it to a certain point and then just cut everything in half and then properly have the symmetry modifier on. You could of course do it right from the start but often it's not worth doing it in the start and can quickly be blocked out with some basic shapes before then.. cutting it in half and starting to symmetry modify it. You can always open a thread in the wip section for any future questions. Be glad to help :-)

hello Tim!
I have one question about unwrapping process. After I saw your tutorial on Intrernet (all of them are amazing and once again I want to thanks for this) I noticed that you don't worry about inverted faces in 3ds max UV editor. You often use mirror tool etc and for sure there was some polys inverted. Did I miss something or just don't understand it?
I will be grateful for the answer

best!
