Hello guys, since it's my first time here let me introduce myself. My name's Rafael Maia Nicolazzi, I'm 27, live in Brazil and no, there are no monkeys running in the streets :monkeydance: . and carnaval is only one time at a year. So, currently i'm an unemployed graduated animation designer with nothing better to do then explore the wonders of this amazing 3D society. I may say that since I was a child i loved guns and war movies, so it's no surprise that I ended moddeling an MP40 after watching the superb Ultimate Weapon tutorial by Tim, if not for him I might still found myself tumbling around trying to get the uvs right. My only life regret is that I didn't started on 3D sooner as I see a lot of young people do and it amazes me to see how good they are. Now that I have a lot of free time I'm aiming to catch up and produce top quality models and renders.
So, this is the MP40 that I talked about, with some more cool WW2 stuff. ... 1502737668

Hope you guys like as much as I liked making it. Cheers :)

Haha! Hey Rafael, welcome aboard!
It really is a great community, and it's always fun to see what everyone else is cooking up at the moment. It's never too late to start working on 3D, really awesome work on the MP40, did you make the other props too?
Would love to see some more screenshots. :3Dlove:
Make love, not war.
Except for in games... everybody loves war in games. And love, yep, that too.

Hey there Rafael! :)

Welcome to Chamferzone Forum, glad you joined as you got some cool stuff to showcase (yep...I've seen the MP40 and it's truly awesome :thumbsup_dude: ).
You're not the only one who wishes to have started with 3D earlier but...after all we just keep learning, no watter what our age is :victory:

Looking forward to see more from you, I mean what you have on Artstation looks very good already, so I'm curious what your next projects will be ^^
Have a good time here :monkeydance:
