I've been on the forums and been following the mech tutorial, but forgot to make an account until now luckily I had few issues in the tutorial.

I'm a Computer Game Design Major student in the Virginia and graduating this year. My institution doesn't go into game art industry tools aside from 3Ds Max so I've been trying to learn Substance Painter and Marmoset Toolbag from the tutorials here and online. I'm hoping to look at Zbrush next. I've been learning a mixture of 2D and 3D art since I entered college and even enrolled in 2D CGMA, but didn't find a focus until now. I hope to be a 3D character and texture artist for games.

As I am writing this, I just finished posting my final mech design here:

Hey there and welcome to Chamferzone Forum! :icon_partyparrot_e:
Hope you will be having a good time here, and looking forward to your future projects of course! :)

I know totally what you mean by not having a hard focus during college time, been a 2D guy myself as well when I was in college.
During that time I loved 3D classes but still had that 2D-thing going on in terms of interest, so after 2 years I actually made the decision to focus a bit more on 3D, but never stopped drawing.
Right now I know that I absolutely want a 3D carreer, but still got that feeling to draw something from time to time :realization:

Either way, I'd say keep creating cool content, you got yourself a nice start here with that mech :thumbsup_dude:
