Hi guys! So everyone is probably suffering this annoying lagging UV editor, when you unwrap something higher than 15k polys in Max.
But in Tim's AKM tutorial I don't see such problems in his UV editor. Anybody knows the solution ?

What kind of machine are you running?

What I mean is, what are the specs on your computer, this is really what it boils down to in 3D.

6gb ram, AMD FX-6300 (6 core CPU), Gforce gtx 660 (2gb, 192 kb/s) + 7 years old HDD and no SSD. Can't afford myself fucking anything. Just dreaming of getting a job and a nice pc. But I assume those specs should be quite enough

Actually man, those are pretty low specs when it comes to 3D. The more geometry you have in your scene, the more laggy it will become. You can build a very decent one, for about 1200 to 1500 bucks. I think allan mackay actually posted what you can get for low prices. Ill try and find it tomorrow for you.
