Many thanks Billabong ! Your solution almost perfectly erased my pinching !

I noticed this support loop (red arrow), if i put it too closed to the angle, that's break the angle with the turbosmooth. But if i put it far enough, that's soften the geometry with the turbsmooth.

If you watch closely the previous picture your will noticed that this angle is almost (very almost) perfect.
But i tried an other step to erase more the pinching this way.

very close man! good job. I feel though if you add a few more well placed edges, it would be completely gone. but regardless, very good job!

Hi everyone ! I had a new issue unfortunetaly... Quad chamfer crash 3ds max..
I tried to put a reset xform on my model and collapsed it but that's not solve my problem.
I tried also to create an other file and merge the object on the new file, but after 10 min, 3ds max crash too...
Sometimes quad chamfer produced weird stuff on my corners cause of the ''quad intersection'' ticked...
I don't know if i have to forget quad chamfer for this object or apply quad chamfer at the last moment and collapsed the stack..

All solutions are welcome for testing !
Hope someone have an idea.. This is the first time that's happen to me.

I experienced this some day as well, those strange edges "exploding" away and such...I solved it by leaving the quad intersection unchecked and adding an Edit Poly on top to fix those areas. It surely takes a bit of time to do, but the results are better than those explodes edges causing trouble. I must admit that I haven't used chamfer modifiers lately as I focus on learning topology these days so the reason for this error is unknown to me as well, never experienced this error actually :icon_ohnoez:

So yea, I don't have the magic fix, but hope the info is helpfull. Thanks to Brandon for helping you out with the other issue you had :thumbsup:

Yes for sure, i have no choice ! I have to finish the work without quad chamfer ! Actually this is the last thing it remain for the highpoly model.
Unwrapping coming ! Can't wait for the substance painter part ! (i just pray for not a new issue happen along the road ^^)
