Hey everyone! :)

Not sure if anyone else has joined the Artstation challenges, but I decided to share my progress so far :enlightened:
Lately it's been quite a rush going on in my life, which is why I'm kinda late checking all your awesome submissions... :icon_redface:
I joined the challenge (3D Prop rendered) quite a while ago, but something more important came inbetween: I applied for a job and received an art test after I was invited for an interview :icon_clappedi:

This took quite some time, the deadline was super tight and simply more things had to be done. So my apologies for the "inactivity" here (I was still checking in from time to time^^).
The good news: I got the job :icon_partyparrot_e: !! So right now I'm working on the challenge whenever I have the chance, in order to meet the deadline which is closing in :icon_ohnoez:

So here is a teaser render (not final btw), for more renders and earlier progress images + future updates, here's the link to my submission for Artstation's Wild West: Prop (Rendered) challenge :)
https://www.artstation.com/contests/wil ... ions/30985

The concept is not designed by myself, but by Mathieu Lamble (https://www.artstation.com/lmorse) who made the concept for the Wild West Prop Design challenge.

I will soon start the next prop, so future updates will follow both here & at Artstation! If you have feedback, feel free to share :enlightened:

Hey Netraraj, no I'm not going to add the person as that will eat up quite some time which I really need to finish the other 2 props before the deadline is there :)

Thanks man :D Not exactly sure what you mean by it will look better when textured as the image shows already a textured version; But I guess you mean that it will look better when those materials are developed more in-depth? :)

Still working on the challenge about every minute when I can, some nighthours included as I'm still behind schedule :icon_ohnoez:
Decided to show you guys the 2nd prop, for which I just finished the highpoly: More renders can be found on my Artstation submission:

Thanksa lot Carlos, I appreciate it! :) It feels really good to have this job ahead well..gotta pass through the first test month but I will try my best of course! :icon_partyparrot_e:

New update

So I'm here to show the result of the BRG prop I'm doing for the Artstation challenge; More renders & stuff can be found on the submssion page just like before:
https://www.artstation.com/contests/wil ... post-89043

As a preview; Here's one of the renders :) The render is not the final submission by the way, feel like I want to play more with lighting and few tweaks in textures in case I have time left.
Feel free to share your feedback! :icon_thumbsfallout:
