Regarding zbrush

Anything cool you want to share that may otherwise be hard to categorize.

Hmm? When did I talked about Marvelous Designer? lol

If you are talking about the videos that guy is using only 3DS Max (with Corona Renderer) + zBrush

This both courses might be interesting only from watching the course overviews:

So you think it is worth subscribing to Pluralsight? Many of their courses are looking really interesting but on the other hand there is Youtube. Might be that this paid tutorials are even better :icon_confused:

Lucky me, I get free access to it because Digital Extremes provides it to all its employees as an education investment.
How much is it usually? In my opinion education is always worth the money but the problem with these sites is that you have to subscribe to them .. you can't cherry pick one tutorial right?

I just follow a really good tutorial on it http://www.digitaltutors.com/tutorial/2 ... -in-ZBrush

It's 29 US$ for one month and yes you can't pay for only one course. But compared to others like The Gnonom Workshop it's okay I guess. As you have free access to them do you think it's worth regarding the course qualitys?

I think 30 Dollars is certainly worth it, I mean even if you let's say get 2 months out of it before you cancel that's 60 bucks for a ton of tutorials that you can watch in that time.
The only thing that i just found is that they have a lot of old tutorials on there, some of them are basically zbrush right after release date..

:confusion:

What adds more to the confusion is that the company account I have links back to the old digital tutors, however I can not log into the plural sight stuff eventhough they kinda merged together.
Meaning it seems they split off some parts and I can for example not watch the tutorial done by my friend from Ubi right now. Confusing.

However that axe tutorial i linked you too was great and would already be worth just for that in my opinion.

I have yet to watch others, I just jumped over to Gnonom actually watching a good tutorial there as well.
Once again, with those tutorials it's about learning stuff hopefully fast and taking lots of notes. Always worth it.

So I have been having a hard time getting used to the move, rotate, scale widgets. So I just found out that in 4R8 they are adding some nice widgetsImage

Oh man, that's very good news !! Yep, I hear you.. I was also not too pleased with the previous move, scale rotate tools. This looks much more intuitive !

Nice! that makes it easier to use. It's what I like about max. Youre able to do all the work just by using the mouse, cause all the controls all layed out.
