Yeah, if you can go higher up you might as well, it's cheaper than getting the lower one and having to buy an entirely new higher up card later on. So you're future-proofing with the next stage up. The vram will likely be destroyed in the years to come.
Make love, not war.
Except for in games... everybody loves war in games. And love, yep, that too.

Maybe you could help me as well. I am about to buy a completely new workstation. When configuring the GPU, I am thinking about getting the GTX 1080 Ti with 11 GB of VRAM. Now I don't really know, if this is too much of an Overkill, or should I spend those extra 300 Euros, when spending so much money anyway. Another option for me would be the norm GTX 1080 with 8 GB.
What do you guys think?
Well i personally dont have money even for regular 1080...But in theory if i had the right ammount...why not have the best tech if u can afford it?) It can be an overkill yea but it will warm your soul :)
Thanks for your feedback guys! I will go fot the Ti to be future proof ! The next things I am going to have a thougt about the RAM. 32 or 64 GB :icon_tableflipper:
Get better everyday. Love the GRIND, the EARLY MORNINGS and LATE NIGHTS.
