Today I've been trying to find the best way to get a low poly and high poly with the same topology with a cylinder boolean cut into another cylinder shape. This had a different set of problems to the cube, and I had to have some and extra loop cut down the middle and an extra tri cut where there was a frustrating little corner that was getting lots of pinching.

I've started to save quad chamfer presets to handle the different situations.

Please feel free to show me how you would prefer to make this shape.

Ho OldSalty, good idea with the presets! I can take a look at it later.

Can you upload that 3Ds Max scene? Good to have the exact same scene
